How to use the flooring calculator
Calculate the number of full flooring packs to buy for a rectangular room.
Worked example
A 5 × 4 m room covers 20 m². With 10% cutting allowance, allow 22 m², then round up to full packs using the coverage printed on the packaging.
Before you order
The waste allowance is a planning assumption. Herringbone, diagonal layouts and awkward rooms may require more. Check pack coverage, batch matching, expansion gaps, subfloor preparation and manufacturer installation instructions.
